Stocking the Musconetcong on last Friday

I helped stock the Musconetcong on last Friday. TU guys meet up with the hatchery truck and help to spread out the fish.

We put some sweet fish in the river including two rainbows that had to be 8lbs. We also stocked a good number of breeder browns and hundreds of 12" rainbows.

River is high right now, but it should be great fishing when it coems down.

You are right on about the stocking. Picked up some nice fish on Friday and Sunday on the Musconetcong.

great thanks for the info! Was hoping to get out there but with the holiday it was fought this weekend. Hopefully next they will still be there ( off to cape code this weekend for cod charter )

when is the next time they stock the musky? and do they stock penwell ave and point mountain road?? im new at this and im always getting skunked!!could use some help. thanx e.h.

e.h.......penwell ave and point mountain road, those are 2 really good spots.

Look for deeper runs and pools, take your time, you'll get 'em. Alot of good info being posted lately.
