Furious backtracking by NOAA and Lubchenco after the initail espn piece broke. Left unsaid in this liberal NYT slant is that it's NOAA's goal to regulate the hell out of the industry and incrementally achieve the original goal of shutting it down. Now they'll have the typical dog & pony "summit committee" where they'll pretend to hear all sides and then do what they want anyway.

MPA's in Fla & Calif, now coming your way.
If that is not the beginning of a ban on fishing what would you call it?

I'm sure any of us from SSFFF or RFA would love to be a part of any meetings with Ms. Lubchenko, but it ain't gonna happen!!! The format of our future is already set in place.
What was the quote I read "You can sell your Catch Shares as you go out of business"!!!!!
How pompous a statement, and yet no repercussions....How about, No, "I didn't mean it that way", it was taken out of context, I'm sorry!
Too many people control our lives, taxes go up... you pay. Fee's for nothing are implemented, you pay, when does it end and when will it be right??
At what point is enough, enough?
Just got back from Vacation and already, I'm stressed to the max!!!
Do you know what your future is? I don't, I can assume that it's not pretty and no matter how hard I work, it's all for not...live with that every waking day.....Capt.Ron
