PROWLER 5 BLACKFISH REPORT SATURDAY DEC 20, 2025.
Hey gang!
I wasn't expecting a lot of people due to Friday's strong winds. The ocean had 10 to 11-ft waves that day, but the strong west wind flattened out the ocean nicely. It was a lot better than I thought. We came out with 6 customers.
We made two drops today. The first drop was in 70 ft with only a few shorts. We had to go out in the deep to find better life. We fished in 100 ft again and ended up with a handful of keepers and 20 shorts for the day. We only had 6 people that came out but each day will get better.
Captain Jack will be at the helm tomorrow, Sunday. We have people coming and plus It's going to be not that bad.
Ben was high hook today with three keeper togs. Nothing big was caught, in the three-and-a-half-pound class pool.
We are definitely fishing on Christmas Day at the normal time.
We have a heated cabin and heated handrail for your comfort, and we're fishing with green crabs and white leggers.
Blackfish every day now, 7:30 AM to 2:30/3:00 PM
Thanks.
Captain Scott.
