Looking to get to Clinton this weekend, can anyone advise if the launch is ok?
Thanks.

I know people r launching without an issue.

I find Clinton is easier to launch when the water level is down so u don’t have to drown your truck to get to the ledge.

Portion of Clinton rd is closed at the south end so u will need to detour to van orden.

Great, that's good to know, I'm usually coming off 23 and turning onto Clinton road. That would have been a real buzz kill seeing a detour sign after my hour drive. Thanks. Is it closed because of the fire last week?

Heard that the water level dropped so low and the launch became so steep, that it was closed. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, very sad.

Since it's open I took a run over today to see how steep for a potential Monday visit but after seeing it this low, I'll be going elsewhere. FYI pics - 1st is looking to the left and the second is by the water looking back with the launch entrance in the middle and the camera was at six feet and couldn't see the trailers in the lot.
