The BLUES did not want to cooperate today. We read them on the scope at times and saw them pop up on top under the birds but they were not in the mood to bite. We did have a few fish on and a BLUEFISH ended up winning the pool.
By midday, we made the switch over to FLUKE. We picked at shorts and KEEPER FLUKE with some anglers getting their limit.
Fluke fishing has been good lately, so if the BLUEFISH aren’t biting early, we’ll be doing some FLUKING instead.
With the hot weather we’ve been having, our air-conditioned cabin makes life a lot easier. It’s great to get out of the heat and cool off between bringing the fish over the rails.
