Went out on my boat, Avery Lynn after our excellent Club Trip on the Dark Horse...more of that to come.
Went right back to the spot we left them at Saturday. Bite changed some for sure. They were not as aggressive attacking shads or spoons. Still stacked in areas where we were drifting. Trick was to just drift the shads and slowly jig em. They were not into the action on the spoon yesterday afternoon... Lots of misses or bumps and a bunch of takers as well. For 3 hours of fishing for 3 of us we landed a dozen fish up to 38 inches. Also had 3 keepers that went to the fillet table.
Not bad for an afternoon quick trip!
