Went fishing 🎣 in 64 degrees Carnegie Lake this evening on a warm, cloudy day with a strong northern breeze. Only 9 other fishermen were there. Saw them catch and release small crappies while ultralight jigging. Was very fortunate that I was able to get my spot on a Sunday. Threw out canned, whole kernel corn 🌽 for chum, then caught and released 3 largemouth bass and a white perch while ultralight jigging with a shad dart that I found on the ground on the previous evening. Started getting bites on corn 🌽 bait late in the day, then caught and released 2 brown bullheads and a channel catfish. Made a video of a beaver 🦫 swimming across my fishing 🎣 spot. Met 2 future fishermen from India 🇮🇳. Was very surprised that I didn’t hook a carp.
