We’ve been using Collinte Fleetwax all in one cleaner wax for years and the old gal still shines up nice even after 25 years. The stuff seems to hold up well too and was still beading up from last spring.
I’d be interested to know what others are using.

Gerry,
I experimented with a protectant with PTFE in it. THE ABSOLUTE BEST!
I think and supposedly does give the hull even better hydrodynamics. Less water drag.
I was supposedly banned in yacht racing for that reason. And it used to be prohibited in some shipping methods. Not cheap.
But unearthly qualities.

Whatever it is that my Detailer uses:D
All kidding aside been using everything 3M hardcore for years now. Started with Collonite but found the 3M stuff easier to use and better results. I use a Detailer for the boat, I’m just to old and broken to do that myself. Cars and trucks at the house I’m still doing and the 3M line can’t be beat IMO

Thanks guys. The Collinite stuff goes on easy but is fairly hard to get off.
Using the PTFD stuff in the non skid deck cleaner and wax and I have to say it’s great. The non skid on the hard top and the bow deck never looked better and was still beading up when we rinsed the boat down to clean it this spring. Used to use Woody wax but this stuff lasts way longer and just as easy to apply.
