Did anyone's boat insurance go up this year? Looks like we got a 20% increase with Geico and had no claims...

I was shocked when I got my Geico estimate for 2025. No claims. We’re paying for risks in hurricane areas I think. I contacted Vito using the insurance link on your website and got the same coverage for WAY less from Progressive, including on-water towing. Found out he binds insurance for many of our NJ charter and recreational fishermen.

Check if the cost is for in water or trailer ....

Vito is the best and a long time sponsor here... I have my home and auto with him and every time they are about to renew he checks for lower rates with other companies. Used to have my boat with him as well with Progressive, I had a claim and they jacked it way up and even though he doesn't represent them, he suggested I check with Geico directly and I saved a ton of money. Since Geico jacked me up this year, he's running some quotes from other companies to see if he can find anything less expensive. He also knows a ton about these insurance companies and some of the small details about their policies which most people ignore but can make a huge difference depending on your situation.

Vito went to work and got quotes from other companies and Progressive came in with the same coverage, including towing for $500 less then Geico.

Thanks Vito!
