I know Shannons and I think Lake Solitude is still in business. Do their leases run out ?
I think there is one on the Musconetcong river near the Asbury hatchery.
Are there any more ?

There used to be a rod and gun club that had a stretch of the upper South Branch. Been a long while since I went up that way.
I think there used to be one on the Paulinskill above Blairstown as well, don't know if it's still there.
I could care less about club water or club fish really so I don't fret about them. I fish the places that I fish so I don't see people, clubs and club fish draw people, hell begone with that.

I think many have gone by the way side, maybe just a sign of the times.

If anything they've increased....I know of at least 6 clubs on the musky and maybe 4 on the sb...I know of one guy that's with a club on the lower black....I think private water will be a big part of our future..that's definitely the trend around the country

Got names of the clubs, I did a Google search and came up with very little.

Don't know the names off hand as I'm not , nor ever will be a member...I hope to fish the one on the lower black come spring...the club names are almost always on the posted signs at the various access points

I'm pretty sure the Windbeam Trout Club still operates on the West Brook in Ringwood. Their property is protected like military base. It's super exclusive and have heard insane numbers on what it costs to be a member. There is very little public info out there on it.

There are plenty of clubs on the water... There is one above flatbrookville in the flatbrook. There is another on the Paulinskill downstream by Airport Rd. A third I know of is upstream of Hotdog Johnny by the Pequest to name a few.

Maybe that's one of the reasons the State stopped stocking Brown Trout, why should they spend the $$$$$ when club membership $$$$ stocks the rivers with Brown Trout.
