RHA is conducting the spring watershed cleanup today from 9am to noon.
Do your duty as a conscientious sportsman and chip in where possible.
Sites are active throughout the watershed area.
Remember, it's 4/20, so don't bogart that joint!
Have fun.

I returned to my old stomping grounds at Chimney Rock Reservoir for the first time in over 25 years. I used to go bass fishing there as a college student. My entourage and I picked up around one hundred plastic and glass bottles, as well as about ten beer cans, all "Modelo". A big shout out to 2 of my friends from the formerly Central Jersey Stream Team for jumping in and getting a small section of the Raritan river cleaned up today, an island at Robert St. Raritan Borough. We all spent the better of 12 years together cleaning the N and S branches as well as the main stem Raritan river. Today was also the big Raritan Headwaters clean up. Cleanest this river has been in over 100 years.

1,167 volunteers cleaned up 60 sites in the North and South Branch Raritan watershed today. Here are some highlights from Hunterdon and Somerset Counties. Thank you to all of the volunteers and sponsors!
