Went ultralight fishing 🎣 in muddy, flooded 50 degrees Carnegie Lake this afternoon in the rain and fog during a nor’easter, small craft advisory and flood warning. There was a swift current in the lake from flood water release. The Delaware River flow at Trenton, NJ, was a new record for the date. Met two guys in the parking lot who enjoyed reading my posts on the Internet. Three people were fishing 🎣 in the river with an umbrella ☔️. They caught a catfish. I caught and released a gizzard shad with Walmart red worm 🪱 halves on 4 lb test line. Took pictures. Winter flood fishing 🎣 in Central Jersey really sucks. I may try waterfowling instead.
