Post them here... I'll start

We camped a lot and it seemed like it rained a lot too but every time it let up we'd fish. My grandson came into his own and caught his first Largemouth by himself and my wife caught her first NJ Smallie!

Finally caught my first ever Snook in FL

Also got to go up to Palaski for the first time and a couple of guys in our group got some Steelhead.

Did a drift trip with Mike K on the Delaware and had non stop Smallie action.

Was a good year!

Still thinking about all the trips and adventures I’ve been on this year. That float trip was a blast. One of my favorite things to do in the Kayak. The serenity and scenery are unmatchable!!!:D

Yep, I had forgotten how special and scenic the Big D is. Eagles, bait jumping and some guy walking into the woods with toilet paper :D

This great looking 10 YO young man is my grandson Landon... he is a scholar list student, and is an outstanding athlete in 3 sports..
He LOVES to fish with papa.. However his spring/summer baseball and fall soccer schedules leave precious little time to fish anymore, and it gets worse each year as he grows older it seems.. We got out a few times to a local small very highly pressured public lake, where we have caught a few decent fish including some 2 lb plus bullheads and some 15-17 inch rainbows.. he caught this one himself, no help from me, and was jumping up and down, laughing and yelling his head off just as he did when he was 5... He wanted his mother to see the fish, and he loves eating fish we catch, so we took this LMB home for him.. The water in this lake is crystal clean, and pure, and the fish in it are always sweet, fresh and clean tasting, even the big bullheads, and this bass was no exception.. It made his day, he was so proud of this fish.. Not much in the grand scheme of things, but as stated, 2023 was tough year, we just didn't fish much.. I promised him we would go a lot more in 24, and I hope to make good on that,, Love watching him compete as an athlete, but it really takes a lot of time away from less physical pursuits like fishing with papa.. Really hoping for more rod and reel time with him this year... we'll see..... bob
