My prayers go out to an old salt that has passed - to his family and friends, Bobby Matthews has passed on. One of the kindest gentleman I knew- coming from a guy -me that met him at the Den, while still on my mongoose and boss cruiser- outfitted with pvc and hose clamps on the forks of my bike, chasing bass and blues across the shoreline- in waders, had many great talks with him- always a stand up guy, I remember a time I lost my wallet somehow, while peddling my cruiser to get more green tailed 007’’s and he “ gave me 4 on the house” which I did pay back- he was that kind of guy, and always was. I just wanted to share a brief memory of many I have of him. One of the most stand up guys I know, without even knowing who you were at all. I will miss him, as well, I know many others as well!
