It was a slow start that turned into a FANTASTIC DAY! We picked slowly at the BLUES most of the day but the last part of the day, WE CRUSHED THEM. There were fish up on top and white water at times with the BLUES feeding on the bait. Both Diamond jigs, plain and tailed, worked on the BLUES that ranged from 2 to 8 lbs!
The Pool winner with an 8 lb. BLUEFISH was Dan Simpson from Toms River, NJ.
It was a GREAT DAY WITH LIMITS OF BLUEFISH AND KEEPER FLUKE on board.
Both the Morning and Night Bluefishing Trips on Saturday, 9/23, have been canceled due to the weather so...
Tomorrow, Friday, is the day to come fishing before the rain and wind move in on Saturday.
