9/7/23. Today started out pretty slow. Went to a new area and the lack of drift hurt us until noon. Wind picked up and we started catching fish. A lot of 4 and 5lb fish and decent short life as the day progressed. A few guys with limits and others with two. Overall, not great, but not terrible either. Season coming to an so come on down.
