If you are new to Fluking on your boat, the first and most important factor for putting fish on board is conditions. This means understanding how the wind, tide/current is going to effect the speed and direction of your drift.
Hopefully this video will help you catch my drift and more Fluke ;)

Hey Gary, long time member of NJ fishing .com been fishing Raritan bay, sandy hook since the 50's. Wondering if anyone remembers the party boat " Happy" out of the highlands. Was a member of the keasby boat club under the parkway route 9 bridges till we lost our ramp. Fished every spot in the bay. Now launch out of the rumson municipal ramp and fish mostly sandy hook bay and and put in the bay around the hook. Was nice to put a face with you Gary after all these years. Pushing 80 but hope to keep fishing for as long as I can. Have partners with their coast guard certificate to help me run the boat. Thanks for your input and tight line..... Walt

Hey thanks for that Walt! I really admire the fact that you're doing this in your 80s and I hope to do the same and nice to meet you too!
I do remember the name "Happy" but never fished it. If you want a nostalgic look back at some of the party boats back in the day, check out this section of Mels-Place site at http://www.mels-place.com/mmm/
Great to connect with you, more fishing to come and happy to have you on the site for all these years!

Hey Gary thanks for the kind comments. Just thinking back does anyone remember Hanks and Tony's udrive rentals. They were pretty good size inboards and I remember Tony's were red and black. I remember my father once rented one of Hanks boats. I'm here thinking time and tides wait for no man. To all hear at the site treasure each trip and the crazy thing ever trip is always a little different. Man all I can say is wow it's gone by too fast. Tight lines walt.
