PROWLER5 - MAY 31st - SEA BASS 7:00 A.M. TO 3:30 REPORT

We sailed today with 15 people. I had six or seven guys cancel last night because of the easterly winds the last couple of days. I'm pleasantly surprised, the ocean is beautiful today. Actually no sea at all. Sea bass fishing is outstanding action with loads of short sea bass in the mix today. Chris' group (party of five) from eastern PA already has the cooler full and they all have their limit. Not as many ling today, just a couple. This is an early report so we are still fishing. If you want to go fishing you really should come down tomorrow and Friday because the weekend forecast doesn't look good right now. Our last fluke trip we got into the 30s in keepers. Big Joe officially took the monthly pool with a 5.3 lb. fluke. Looking forward to getting back out on the fluke grounds the next couple of days. I'll see you in the morning.

Awesome trip today Capt. You certainly kept us on the fish. Anchoring in the morning and once the winds became calmer drifting over some productive rough bottom. The last two hours of fishing was outstanding with plenty of action and some real nice sized fish being caught. As always the crew was there to help when needed. I went home with a big bag of fillets! Tight lines!
