On Saturday May 6, Mike Reynolds who was Sharkyispy on here & affectionately known as sharky to a lot of us passed away. Mike had bought brinkmans bait & tackle in Northeast Philly roughly 7 years ago & was living out a lifelong dream. I know i bought bucktails from sharky a long long time ago from meeting him on here & that sparked our friendship. I know a lot of you have fished with Mike & he was a sweetheart of a big guy. I have attached his obituary on here for viewing & funeral arrangements. Sharky was the only dude with worse luck than me when it came to being blown out, we can only hope he has light west winds up in heaven.

This just sucks no matter how you look at it! Way to early and we lost another good man, fisherman and for me a personal friend to me and many others. Mike was a mainstay on our Jenny Lee Shark tournament trips as well as our FSOS Fluke tournament charters for many years. He loved fishing with friends and his tackle store business where he could help many and hopefully make a buck. While as we all and I know being in your own business can be stressful, when we talked which was often he always put a positive spin as he said at least I am doing what I love.

Fair winds and calm seas my friend. I will miss you

So sad to hear. Met Mike on one of the original NJF tuna trips and many more offshore runs after. Just a great dude to converse with.

Way way too soon. Rest in Peace Sharkyispy.

I met Mike through FB. Like myself he was not only a fisherman but a musician.
This is really sad to hear. He's now up in that big gig in the sky now jamming out and also catching some lunkers. RIP Mike.

Great loss to our fishing community. Had the pleasure of fishing with Mike a few times, he was a real gentlemen, great company and will be sorely missed.

RIP Sharky, fair winds and following seas.

So sad as he had been dedicating most of his time caring for his mother who was in hospice with him. Just a great guy and a lot of fun to be around. The express train to heaven. Rest Well Mike

Didn't know Mike but remember his posts well. Sad to see someone's life cut short at such a young age. Last couple of years have been especially tough on many losing so many family and friends. Condolences to family, friends and loved ones! RIP!
