hit Prospertown early to overcast and wind from the north. All alone for the first hour. Got my first trout within 10 minutes. Strung it and went to rebait when the water exploded by my stringer. Troy tried to make off with my fish! I shortened the stringer as the poor trout was about dead from the thrashing that Troy gave it. Got a couple more without her showing back up. The wind laid down some and I could see better into the water. The coontail is growing in in patches and I'm getting hung in it on my retrieves around 30 yards from shore. I hook another and end up losing it due to a couple of pounds of coontail/moss on the leader over the fish's head. Went to lift it and see you later. Shifted that rod over hoping to find more open bottom/deeper bottom. Lose another at the bank. As it swims off I see a large shape following it. Troys back. I hook another. I get it within 5yards and the trout goes nuts. It jumps and takes drag. Changes direction and there's Troy in hot persuit. I risk losing the fish and just whip it up on the bank. Leader breaks but momentum carries the trout to the top of the dam.I finish up my limit without any more interaction with Troy. Here's some pics. Hope to get pics of Troy when grandson can film as I play a fish.
