Now being back full time in norfeast philly I am looking for more spots in the 30-40minute range from home, especially since they closed lake cockolla r.i.p
First spot was Conines Millpond, cute area with nice shops, lake had a ton of guys fishing it. Saw 1 guy catch a 1lb bass & 5 guys proceeded to swarm him. Got 1 nice crappie in the wind & packed up as fishing in crowds aint be my jawn. Tried Prospertown lake after that, loads of anglers, not a bite & didn't see a fish caught. Tried gropp pond on way back home & not a bite here either so hit college cockolla, 7 minutes from home & had a dink sacalait slaughter before dark.
