Stopped & got a bunch of minnies from Sharky's Bait and Tackle this morning for an adventure. We wanted to fish some waters we never fished before so we put on the Google maps and headed off.
First spot was a bunch of little ponds by blue spring kennel. They were super muddy but we thought why not. Threw the minnies in a bunch & had 0 love. Packed up & headed to Hammonton lake. Caught some slimers there on both bait and lures. Then headed to Makepeace lake. Looked like the pickerel mecca but had no love. Went back to Hammonton and found the mother load of small perch, toddler largies and some crappies. Action was furious but size wasn't there.
