The bass regs are taking on causalities, reports of quite a few dead girls floating around down by me. Most people will just release these fish without proper reviving and the fish just swims away and goes belly up. There is no way in hell that these PB caught bass are surviving either regardless of what they say.

On Columbus day weekend I saw surf guys doing the snag and drop. There were some bass being gut hooked on Bunker snags then dragged through the sand measured photographed and released belly up.

I'm glad that your ESP allows you to know everything happening on other boats, you must be really gifted!

I don't know what the guys on boats were doing. I know what I saw standing on the beach next to me.

Not the bass regulations, it’s the people NOT adhering to the bass regulations.
Just because one might agree with a regulation doesn’t give them the right (or a pass) in not following it.

CPO Moscatiello conducted an inspection of a recreational vessel after returning to a marina along the Manasquan River. The captain of the vessel stated that only four legal summer flounder were on the boat. During the inspection CPO Moscatiello observed the captain continually attempted to block the view inside the cabin of the vessel. A thorough inspection of the vessel revealed two cooler-style bags containing 47 undersized summer flounder. Summonses for 47 undersized summer flounder and 42 over limit summer flounder were issued. From the August 2022 Bureau of Law Enforcement report to the Fish and Game Council. Bureau of Law Enforcement

CPOs Moscatiello and Woerner conducted an overnight patrol in the Manasquan Railroad Bridge area, which has been a hotspot for fish poaching activities in recent years. Surveillance of the area was difficult due to the environmental conditions, so the officers conducted a foot patrol where they encountered three men fishing directly under the railroad bridge itself. Upon inspection, the men were found to be in possession of seven undersized striped bass and one undersized summer flounder. Summonses were issued for undersized striped bass, over the daily possession limit of striped bass, possession of an undersized summer flounder, and trespassing for the purpose of taking wildlife/fish. A total of nine summonses were issued to the three fishermen.
