On our Canyon trip, Saturday/Sun 24 hour trip, we saw a weather window. We told our customers ahead of the trip that we would not be able linger late because the wind was supposed to start around noon.
Thankfully, they did catch some big yellowfin in the dark and into the daylight. Not as wild as our first trip, but happy with what we caught. The Gambler got into the dock before the seas got too big. Great trip! Great fishermen!
We will be headed out again on Weds morning. It's been a good start to the season. Let's hope the storms stay away.
Our canyon trips are booking fast but there are still openings on 24 hour trips into November. Last year was good canyon fishing for us --right into December.
