Always hard following a JMurr trip as they are good fishermen and take all the ocean has to offer! But not so hard with Capt Jerry and crew Sean / Justin.
We always prefer fluking but with conditions suspect offshore we picked up where Jmurr left off the day before on the Porgy grounds inshore. Lights out Porgy's , Triggers, seabass which all had to go back:mad: and some blues.
Joe is correct these size Porgys on light tackle and jigs are a blast!
Got a break in the weather and Cappy said lets take a look in 100 ft for the flatties. Glad we did as Mike landed his PB and first doormat @ 10.5 lbs. Well deserved and earned but since he works for me I am going to have to hear about it daily until probably next year
Got some other nice fish and I think 10 keepers all overs.
South wind came up hard as expected so we had to leave fish there as you couldnt hold or fish properly. Very safe bumpy ride back!
Full boxes, lots of fish for everyone and and once again as always stellar effort from Capt Jerry, Sean or (shawn) and Justin. These guys are good!!!
