Fall Surf fishing

Here’s to a successful and productive fall season… on the surf. :cool:

Been off the party boat scene for a few years-

Took half a dozen trips in the last few weeks on all different boats

Headed back to surf until better fishing or better strategy

Good news for Rammie from his cancer doctor, I AM CANCER FREE after fighting Colin cancer for two years . I will be hitting the Sandy Hook surf this afternoon with my wife for support and in case needed. All is good and feeling as normal as I can be. Management treatments will continue for now or as needed but in pill form .NO more hospital chemo treatments. Good to be back in the sun and surf. Take care and be strong!!!! Congrats, I know from personal experience that is the best feeling!
Just be sure not to push yourself too hard, that chemo puts a beating on your body. I remember walking a good distance and all of the sudden having zero energy to fish or walk back.

That's great news! I can't think of any better therapy than the sun in your face, sand on your toes and a bent rod in the surf. Stay strong and catch 'em up!

Great to hear you are back Rammie. Went out this morning before first light for my first session of the Fall season. Started with a black and red bucktail for nada then put on a metal lip and got some Bass right on the beach lip. Alot of mixed sized Mullet were passing by and I was just lobbing my lure 50ft parallel to the beach and the Bass were really hitting it hard. Had the pleasure to meet a few anglers and the fellow nearby landed a nice flattie and lost one much larger.
