Fish ID

Anyone have any idea what type of fish this is? At first i thought a baby black drum due to the shape of the mouth but its not. The diagonal stripes kinda look like a bonitas, but thats definitely not it. And its not the infamous banded rudderfish either, lol. Caught back in a lagoon in a crab trap of barnegat bay. Thanks!

We typically get smaller ones up here every summer. Further south they get nice pan size ones, and they are very popular...
