Everyone who fishes with me, Customers, Newbies, everyone gets treated the same way....Professionally. If you are looking for something beyond that please find another boat.
Tiered of guys coming down thinking my crew are second hand workers and expect them to drop everything they are doing to accommodate! We have a system, you need a bucket, you know where they are, in the morning we are trying to load the boat that's what the crew is doing, setting up Rod's, making sure everyone is comfortable, if you need water for your kellies (which are useless) fishing the ocean you know where the hose is. Do Not treat my crew like they are your servants for the day!

Joe has been with me 6 seasons now since Capt. John passed, if not for him I would have sold my boat...His passion is on the same plane as mine...the Customers, working our ass off every day to get it done! Stop pushing the limit to what is acceptable. We give advise to the rigs, the rods, the weight you use, if you don't listen, that's on you.

We carry Customers because we work hard, my Crew are not your personal assistants....they do all they can, when you yell for a net and a 15 inch fish comes up...for Christ sake, most of you have been fishing many years, you should know if it's a good fish, STOP it!
Sad I have to post this but when a Man who has a thriving business and does this because he loves it tells me he was ready to give his notice, makes me very angry! If it's Him or you, I choose him. If what we do is not to your upper crust level and you need a personal assistant, please find another boat......We do this because we love it day in day out! Rant over..... Capt. Ron

Capt. Ron, You can only do so much. Just because you pay the fare doesn't give you the right to abuse the crew or think that you own them for the trip. As the season wanes crew's tire being on the water for days without a break. It's tough to carry on when you do the right thing, go the extra mile for your customers, and still get sh#t on. There is always one or two customers that push your buttons . Keep posting the truth and catch um up!

Some people feel entitled no matter what they do or where they go! You know you run a tight ship with a good crew. We can never make everyone happy! it's been a long season and this heat doesn't help. I'm sure the majority of your customers are happy and come back for more. From the reports you post you always give 100% and more! Keep up the great work!

Joe is one of the best in the business - no customer is worth losing him over.

People are so fkn entitled these days it's hard to stomach.

Sincerely hope Joe has cooled off and reconsidered. I’ve been fishing with Joe for many, many years even before he was a mate on the Captain John. He is without a doubt one of the most knowledgeable, friendly, intelligent & service oriented mates that I have ever come across.

I imagine a good mate is the best advertisement and the best ambassador for a party or charter operation that there could possibly be.. I have seen some very good ones over the decades, but sadly several that were ..... well, lets just keep it civil and say "not quite as good"... Really good, helpful, honest, reliable mates can't be all that easy to find, otherwise they would be on all boats.. I can understand capt Ron's consternation... bob
