here are the rest of the pics from our jigging trip in NC. still thankful luke "ralph" didn't just throw himself overboard the the sharks to stop the pain, and glad he hulked out for a bit to jig up 2 nice almaco jacks!
Nick and I jigged up amberjacks and almaco jacks until our arms, literally, couldn't handle much more. Nick reeled in his first tuna as we trolled a lure out moving between spots and also caught a double of the two biggest trigger fish i've ever seen in my life! fighting them both at the same time on a double bait rig we basically thought he had a small amberjack on haha.
we also caught some various snapper (not pictured) and lost a few battles with some strong, hefty (probably) grouper. we each got pulled into a snag once and then i tightened my drag and got the next one up into the safe zone, only to have it take a hard run and pull the hook :mad:
