It was good to get out in the ocean again and it was a really nice day out there. We tried different depths of water and the water is starting to warm up and we had some LING and CODFISH, just not enough of those. We had a few SEA BASS but the season is closed so they had to go back over the side and a few BLACKFISH but that season is also closed so they had to go back over. BLACKFISH season opens Friday, April 1st, and we will be fishing for them. In general, it was a nice day but unfortunately we didn’t catch enough of the fish we were looking for.
We are off now until April 1st and then we will be fishing every day.
