Caught and released 13 pickerel to 20”, 3 yellow perch to 12” and 2 largemouth bass to 12” with a 1/8 oz twister tail leadhead jig on 4 lb test line this evening in a 52 degree pond at Collier’s Mills WMA. Caught and released 33 fish in 3 trips there this year. Didn’t lose my lure yet. Landed 26 fish in the same spot. A juvenile bald eagle flew over the pond. Took lots of pics. Law enforcement officers didn’t come after me yet like at Carnegie Lake and Dam Site 21. NJ Pinelands fishing is great.

Waded out far with chest waders but there are openings along the shore. It’s a good spot for kids. Colliers Mills Lake also has spots along the shore. Success Lake is another option. Minnows under a bobber will catch lots of fish. Good luck.
