I went to cranberry lake and then to lake musconetcong they both had 10" of ice but the bite was bad. i drilled a bunch of holes in shallow and deep water to find only three sunnies 1perch and a hammer handle slime dart. i fished on the bottom and in the middle of the depth and the fish were not playing nice they did not even like the marmooska with a meal worm that is my go to #1 jig. the high pressure was killing the bite big time today hope after the warm weather the pressure drops a bit and they will play nice.. lake musconetcong was not any better the weeds are not around that much like they used to be and the place is like a big 4' deep bowl with not to much cover for the fish to hide in making it hard to find fish. not much structure for them to relate to, i only got one small perch there today hope things pick up later in the week or by the weekend..

Sounds tough for sure Badger. Had the same thing on Monksville. Jigged for Walleye for 10 hours and should’ve stayed home. Hahahaha! Place is tough. Blahhh!!!:D

Agreed on the tough bite. Fished Monday from 10am to 2pm in 8 inches of ice. From 5 feet with weeds to 15ft without... 1 crappie landed.. one fish missed on the flasher. That's it!
