Big river smallmouth

Hit the big river for some smallmouth. Started super slow then hit a nice little stretch and pulled a few fat fish out on jigs. One had a cool giant black spot on its belly. Father thought it had a hole in it lol. Water was crystal clear and 38 degrees.

great SMBs from the wintery river :) Yea that black spot is neat dont see many of those at least in the raritan watershed
