I missed the meet & greet this year because i was chasing saltwater stripers, but i got out with squatch this past weekend and we hammered down on some early before it shut down and the hail came down.

I also dusted off the ice rod already and imagined standing on hard water whacking some slab crappie haha they were picky on the bite, but starting to stack up good already!

I also am including an after-work quicky trip pic of a stocked rainbow because I'm so impressed with the increased quality of these fish over the past year or two... this fish hit hard and flew out of the water multiple times during the fight!

Great to see you got the hybrid madness in, I think im bad luck with hybrids on your boat lol.

What kinda PHSYCHO uses an ice rod on open water? You sir, YOU! I likes it. Great fishes homie!!!:D Hey it's alright to use ice rods on open water i do it all the time.. when the ice melts the perch can be fun on a jig rod at ice out time.
