Fluking Before the Storm

Headed out with pops at 830. Bounced around the bay with shorts. Hit the reach in deeper water and managed 5 nice fish up to 5lbs. All fish were on gulp new penny shrimp 3" and 4". North side channel edge was where they were. 1 1/2 Bucktails white or Chartreuse. Had the the closest encounter with a sturgeon, damn near flew into the boat. One good rumble of thunder and we headed for the barn one short of our limit. Good Times!!!

Great catch and informative report. Not many reports about the Reach these days! Yes them sturgeon like to almost jump in boats and they are big!! Thanks and tight lines!

Awesome report man! The state has a sturgeon reporting site. Guessing they want to know / when where they are sited
