Last night I went into stealth mode and got some brookies. No big ones but put a good quantity into the net.
There's something relaxing about targeting these dink creek fish. Not a single chub was caught, nice lol.

I'm not an Ithocoligist but I think they are all pictures of Brown Trout. Nice to target the stream-born fish non the less. I haven't fished the small streams lately, makes me think about planning a trip.

nah these are definitely brookies, no browns reported in this stream. but they can be hard to tell apart at this tiny size, their features arent as bold.

White-stripers. You caught a lot of them. I tried for them back in October with my 2wt & did hook one, but the highlight was saving a big one from a water snake. I saw the fish spook, scoot under a ledge, and then the snake emerge from under there with the 10-inch brookie's tail in its mouth! I went in up above my waist, finally got a grab on the snake, and when it dropped the brookie, it went, open-mouthed, for my other arm. If I had dropped it a split-second later, it would have got me.

110% brook trout!!
I always enjoy heading to the Mt. Streams and catching these little gems! Only true native trout to our area!

Those are some amazing pics... Mother nature spent a lot of time perfecting those patterns of colors.
