Quick trip to the south branch

Got the little guy all dialed in he’s been being really good and sleeping well. Figured I’d take a walk across the street to feed some of my trout. I had a few come out and swipe at the plug but that was it. I took a ride downstream lookin for bubba but ended up finding a few of his friends before snapping a loaner rod from Eddie. Couple nice browns and a bow with a bunch of swipes and misses. Water level is perfect and the fish are there, and so is bubba and his friends. great! Ah, id rather have the south branch a walk away from home than this dirty, fishless, passaic river :p btw what are with the lumps on that rainbow.

There he is! Bubba was hooked the other day but took off down the fast water and spit my buddies plug. She’s huge from what he said! Oooof! Nice fish brother! :D
