Exited my coffin around 1030 12/3 & headed to the river. Still muddy but fishable. First few spots I shot blanks on various offerings but continued to work my way downstream. After midnight i had my 1st walleye after missing a few strikes. 20" fish. Good to bust the rust off.

About 30 min later got smoked by a 22" striper on a 4" soft plastic. Fish was really chubby. Called it at 130 am on 12/4. Was my first night adventure in a long time. Felt good, especially in december... been doing a lot of toggin and flounder fishing with quality results from shore. This was a nice lil change of pace.

Nice man! Cool to see that you get some action in the cold and dark! I would've thought things would be slowing down at night given the dropping temps

Awesome man! Great catching on what I could only imagine was a frigid night.

That striped bass is very lost !:D

with all the stocked trout that got washed down from the last two rains, id say he found a new home :D

It was fairly mild until this week really. Water temp felt warmer than the air temp the night I was fishing. Fish was spitting up bait

Always interesting to hear from the night prowler.
