Decided to take advantage of slow work and a warm November afternoon to see if I could find some fall trout for the smoker on the Ramapo
Arrived in Mahwah around 130 to way too bright skies and decent flows for November. Worked a several 100 yd stretch with nothing to show for it, not even 1 bite. Worked my way back and finally connected on a very purdy fall rainbow on the Phoebe.
This is a spot that normally gets fish from the TU guys spreading em around and it appears that probably didn't happen this fall.
Either way it was a beautiful afternoon of peace and quiet :o
