Panfish + Bass

Some pics from back in late September that I forgot to post cause I caught salmon fever..

Luke and I took a trek out of state to hit up one of my favorite smallie lakes. Found the bass right where I left them last year, and while there were no giants we did catch decent numbers. Spent the morning targeting bass before moving out deep where I watched Luke put on a drop and reel jumbo pan fish clinic catching white and yellow perch, crappie, and sunfish. Had a few double ups, and Luke pulled a solo double.

LOL i forgot about how comically massive that bluegill was. I remember laughing for a straight minute after catching it. :D oh man, would love to go back just for the panfish.

Nice mixed bag of fish. Real nice colors on the smallmouth. that sunnie is huge they are fun to catch when they are that size i usually get big ones like that when i am out jigging on the ice cool report.

Im slowly recovering :D the little local trout are fun but definitely not the same! We gotta go back up to get my fix lol

Thanks Badger! They put up a pretty good fight on light gear when they get that big. Im hoping we get some ice this year so I can search for some :)
