To honor Bruce Vitale i grabbed the trusty old town canoe and hit the cong today. My first cast was in his honor, it took 5 casts and i got the first fish of the trip it was a small red breasted sunny. Then i moved to another spot and caught two crappies and three more sunnies the last spot i fished i was able to get a good size crappie and two perch. I never got the chance to meet this man but after reading the tribute his son posted i felt as if i knew him, it was sad to hear of his passing. I hope his friends and family are getting through this and my thoughts and prayers are with them.. It was a beautiful afternoon out there today and i kept him in my thoughts as i fished may he rest in peace.
