Explored a few new spots near my house this weekend in the ol Passaic, mainly looking for pike. While i found some areas that definitely hold them, I only ended up catching a few decent largemouth.

The mosquitos were insane at these spots though :(

Also dropped off some home cooking from my mom to my grandfathers, and since i was in the are I checked out the site where the dam was removed on the lamington. What an awesome job. I fished that spot growing up and it looks so different, but in the best way. Wrangled up a half dozen hard fighting redbreasts on an ultralight in my 15 minute stop last night.

Moving up to north jersey very soon, so I'll be exploring a lot of new water as well. More reports to come. Stay safe and tight lines!

Nice fish! Was just past the old dam on the Lamington today, beautiful area, funny, one of my friends ran the machine hammering the old dam out.

Cool report! Finding new spots that produce right off the bat is great! Those bass look pretty silvery clean on the bottom for coming from the P. Both nice specimens!! Good luck up north bro, much fish to be caught!
