Found a few more spots very local to me and decided to check them out. Surprisingly, all of them looked good and seem less pressured than the other ones i've been to. Quickly started getting bites, but mostly from small sunfish that were too small to get to the hook.
Hopped the ned rig around some weeds and structure and hooked either a small perch or redbreast that came off, casted right back to the same spot and got chomped. Pulled a decent SMB out of the river.

Cast around some more but no more takers, glad to see the SMBs I do catch out of here all seem to be pretty decent sized and very healthy. Ya love to see it! Stay safe and tight lines!

chunky football!, ive found only a few in the lamington yesterday. Should be better if temps stayed hot, unlike earlier this week.

Great to find new spots to find some fish, even better when they wind up being there! Sweet lookin' Mollie you found too! I've been targeting them exclusively lately using only a new homemade popper I rigged up. Been getting great action and mollies on it, but lookin' to catch a fattie with it hopefully.

I have a rear rack that i put my tackle bag on, the rack also has a clamp so that helps keep it in place, and I wrap the strap around the seat post. Eventually I'd like to attach a rod holder to it, but haven't figured out a good way to do that yet so I've just been holding the rod with one hand :D The bike is an ancient Giant, my moms from 93. Gets the job done! :D
