Fished Barnegat Bay for Fluke and had a decent bite early on with all being shorts that were full of Grass shrimp and small crabs. The bite shut off mid morning and we left and went back out in the evening and got a few more until our drift speed went 0.00. We started casting and jigging and my friend got a keeper but the snot became an issue. Went out from Manasquan early this morning and stopped on a wreck that had good marks on it but the bite was slow. They didn't touch a jig or a teaser and they weren't really on the salted clams. Fortunately we had some fresh clams and got 12 keepers and one Ling and around 30 shorts. Not to good for 3 anglers. The highlight was a guy got a 5lb Tog on an AVA with a green tube which I thought was pretty unusual.
