Disappointed, Lack of Reports

I was in Shark River both Friday and Saturday early AM. Many of the party and charter boats went out, NO REPORTS. I enjoy them but I have many friends that depend on them to make a last minute decision to fish the following day. Both the party boats and future charters for the 6 packs.

I know it takes time and effort, but from a business standpoint the party boats might get additional reservations even with the current limits on fares after people read their posts.

Tough year for all but I would think anything that can get you a couple of extra fares can't hurt.

one option, take a ride go to the docs, you will get the most updated "report". also, there are many sponsor PB and private captains here who dont bullshit. if its good, they will tell you. if it sucks, likewise.

I have been happy for the last couple of weeks seeing ANY reports. Makes me feel like it is getting back to almost normal.

There are several reports from the party boats in open boat and charter forum. Not all party.boats report on the weekends.

I kinda agree with him. Lots of boats only post once in a blue moon and for me coming to the docks is a 2 hour drive. plus money is tight and you want the most bang for your buck. Im sure the site wouldn't mind more posts either

The GOLDEN EAGLE from Belmar has sailed everyday for the past twelve days.

Reports have been posted on the Golden Eagle's website www.goldeneaglefishing.com everyday that it has sailed!

Reports has been posted on the Golden Eagle's Facebook page everyday that it sailed!

Reports have been posted on NJ Fishing (THIS WEBSITE) on most of the days it has sailed!

An email with the reports has been sent to many thousands on most days that it has sailed!

Several other party boats has posted their reports much the same!

Stanton, Your Grandfather and Uncle are my kind of Men!! I have said the same thing for years...everyone sits on their ass waiting for the HOT reports but by the time they get here, they missed it. I'll see you next week Capt. now that they are biting is the new norm!!
