We had a good day on Meghan's Ring today. Had a boat limit of nice seabass. We found a small rockpile that we drifted over and after taking about an hour to anchor on it , it was worth it. Maxed out with 30 no measure seabass treats. Capt. Rob had a monster striped bass grab one of his biscuits on the way up but the fish was lost boat side, easy 40lber. Good afternoon.
On a side note my grandfather served 4 voluntary tours of duty on the USS INTREPID starting at the age of 18. While Touring the ship with him some 20 years ago, many years after serving, he would recall fallen shipmates names and quote where they were from among other stories about the crew as if it was yesterday. His photo is portrayed in the Intrepid museum as he looked into the gaping hole in the flight deck that a kamikaze's plane had blown through when he crashed his plane into the hanger bay below. Truly amazing things these young men and women went trough so we enjoy our freedoms to this day. So Thank you to Seaman Edward G Sanborn for my freedom. Tony.

Good day of fishing.... Thank you for your grandfathers service to our country... It is amazing what some generations had to deal with.... It certaily puts staying home and shutting down the economy for 2 months into perspective...

Very true Rum, they were truly the greatest generation. You could take a man at his word and know he would keep it. Right was right and wrong was few and far in-between. That tour We went on with him still resonates with me to this day. Thanks for all the well wishes.

The greatest generation for sure... Can’t even imagine what would happen if we had a draft today....
