had decent mid morning action off Keansburg, marked alot of fish on edge of channel, but only limited action, daughter got a slammer blue, fun action for her.

But then the wind picked up and it was downright nasty heading in

We got out in the afternoon too.. Headed around and down the hook to do some bottom fishing... Ride down was fine but around 2:00 the SE winds kicked in and it was like victory at sea on anchor.. It finally got to be too much so we headed home early in a nasty following sea but not before picking up a half dozen nice size Ling and some Tog and Sea Bass throw backs.

No birds working down the beach either...

Be careful this time of year. Nice sunny warm days can fool you. Wind out of the east can turn the bay into a dangerous situation real quick.
