Unfortunately it’s closed, it’s part of Farny State Park which is affected by the park closures.

but they were there. Now unless they closed it this week the rock is open for fishing however there is no ramp and no playgrounds and no public facilities. car top portage only you still have to practice social distance regs and as always carry out what you bring in that place can get very windy so be careful if you go out on the rock that place is not for googans.

Interesting, this is the first I've heard otherwise. also, isn't shore fishing banned there? I know it was for awhile but unsure if that has changed too.

I know it was for awhile but unsure if that has changed too.The rock is part of wildcat ridge wma the rules changed about shore fishing, i am not sure if that is a good thing with the littering that goes on but last i heard the wma's were open for fishing and as i said that place is not for novice yak/canoe people. The only place you can launch is by the dam if the wind picks up and you are back by the narrows you are in for some fun getting back to your car/truck.
