A Public Service Announcement here... Please consider going out of your way to support the small businesses here on our site...

Each of us are being affected by this Pandemic in different ways but small businesses are suffering the most. If you were considering purchasing something later, consider purchasing it now.. If you were waiting to book a fishing trip, consider booking it now. If you're stuck at home why not go fishing?

We're all in this together so lets do what we can to support the businesses that are there for us when they need it most.

Thanks!

How long before the governor decides to shut down party boats and charters. They closed down restaurants, bars and gyms? Tackle shops? Do you really need fish hooks and bait? They are just places you could catch the virus and die! Don't stand closer than 50 feet apart on the jetty or you'll get arrested. That's next. Somebody better but an end to this nonsense panic before the whole US economy collapses.

We still have a couple more weeks before our season starts, lets hope things are a little more clearer by then. None of us can use any more kicks in the ass!!
Surprised they haven't gone after the commuter boats yet...

After more that 45 years in business my wife is shutting down Sebastian' Day Spa. She had conflicting information from the state. First she was told, "No all beauty Salons must close, then she was contacted and told "They" decided Salons could stay open, but they must maintain that 6' separation. Exactly how do you cut hair or color hair if you have to be 6' away from your client?

Since there is no shot at home delivery or curbside pick up, and only a small hope that long time clients will purchase gift cards it is not looking good at this point. She optimistically, hope rules will be clarified and she can reopen in a week or two. I'm just not so sure. This ain't gonna be easy guys & gals. But, yea, please support the small businesses that you can. Maybe keep Slater's DEli in mind before you rush into Wawa for a coffee or sandwich? They have to try and pay the rent too.

Well that's unfortunate Ron... My buddy at JJ Bitting is closed to all but take out orders and that's been very slow too... I hope that in your wife's case people are going to have to get their hair cut sooner or later so some of that business in non perishable and just postponed. This however is not the case for restaurants, people have to eat and many are staying home and cooking in....

I really feel bad for all small businesses that are forced to close down and their employees... Some of these businesses were on the edge to begin with and this might be the final straw. Many of their employees are living pay check to paycheck as well... Not good but hopefully some of these government programs can help some but the people who rely on tips are really going to be hurting.

Lets hope this is short lived and things get back to normal as quick as possible. I just wonder what the new normal is going to look like after this.....

Hey gang....yea we are all this & taking a bite of the the crap on a cracker situation. Im trying my personal best to work with my clients and help in any way I can. I frequent Gems in Middletown there on 36. Ill be there this weekend getting a sub again.
Its a shame about the Spa Ron.... I know you've been there for so many years.

Sponsors on this site as well as non sponsors....we all need to support and work together to get thru this. We (meaning those in charge in DC) should have seen this coming a while ago, in all honesty.

Everyone stay healthy and stay well. We will pull thru.
