No, I never fished there. Returned this evening and caught 39 more fish including 3 bluegills, a white crappie, a brown bullhead and a white perch doubleheader. 86 fish in two days in February in NJ was outstanding.

02/26/2020 caught and released 31 white perch, 3 brown bullheads, 2 channel catfish and a white catfish with Walmart red worms on two hooks and a 1/16 oz unpainted leadhead jig on 4 lb test line in 48 degree Carnegie Lake this afternoon. Landed 277 fish this year in 17 NJ freshwater fishing trips. Caught catfish on each of my last six consecutive fishing trips. That’s incredible for NJ in February. This is my best start ever. Probably won’t fish the next three days because of cold, windy weather. Fish will stop biting by Sunday.
